At KidLit Craft we strive to provide in-depth craft explorations of excellent mentor texts, to help you read like a writer and improve your craft.
KidLit Craft began as a group of middle grade writers in the SF Bay Area who met to discuss middle grade books with an eye to craft.
Engaging deeply with the craft of mentor texts has grown us as writers, and we want to share that growth with you, whether you write middle grade, young adult, or picture books.
Our posts will primarily be craft reviews, but at times we’ll post author interviews and book lists. All are designed to help you as a writer grow in your craft.
If you’re interested in finding out more about our in-person meetings or contributing to the KidLit Craft blog as a guest contributor, please contact the editor through the contact form.
